“ Did not disappoint. Its a converted house, but quaintly done. But, its the food why you go there. Superb food. We had for appetizer the lobster cheesecake really!!, and roasted quail. Main courses were scallops, one with potatoes and another with noodles. Both excellent. We also had the rack of lamb and filet of beef. We went nuts on deserts and ordered just about everything. Cant really say, which was my favorite. Evans also has an excellent wine list. Anytime, I am in town, its a must place to dine. ”

The savory cheese cake made with fish and lobster was really nice and yummy. Our scallops were great the sauce and pasta were delicious the fillet mignon also. Big selection of wines. The atmosphere is very nice, I love the small restaurant quite and peaceful. We were here to celebrate my husband birthday and we all have an amazing time. The ladys will make sure there is not crumbs on your table.. very fancy, I love the attention. If you are in Tahoe you must stop by this restaurant! ”

“ This hidden gem will not disappoint ! Had the pizza appetizer with an explosion of flavors and the Halibut special was mind blowing! The banana bread pudding and blackberry creme brulee was like no other I have ever had. Not to mention the service with a huge smile and great knowledge of their specialties was right on point. “ We reserved a table at Evans for our Elopement night dinner. It is a beautiful quaint restaurant where people go to celebrate. The ambiance was great not too loud, tables were distant enough for privacy but close enough you could have a conversation with other guests which we did multiple times throughout our meal The wine was fairly priced and the service was spot on. If you want great food look no further. This was definitely the best part about this perfect restaurant. Perfectly cooked, the right temperature and a great blend of flavors. We will go back to Tahoe just to eat at Evans. ”

“ Its so delightful to find a gem like Evans in Lake Tahoe! Quaint, small and DELICOUS!!! I havent been to Tahoe in years, but having dinner here was one o the high lights of my trip. I had the special Halibut with wild rice veggies, butter salad first, served with freshly baked sour dough. As a chef treat, duck liver pate with crustinis served. My friends ordered the Duck and Pork chop dinners nothing was left on their plates! Desert, housemade Rasberry ice cream, Choc creme brule with berries served with a raspberry sauce Reservations are a must, so plan ahead. ”
